Yoss Thriftway partners with Adrian PTO to support students and staff
For more than 40 years, the Yoss Family has been philanthropic leaders in our community. As owners of Yoss Thriftway, they have shown a great deal of support for a wide-variety of things through the years.
One significant program Yoss Thriftway continues to partner with is the Adrian PTO/Yoss Thriftway Receipts Program. For every receipt collected, PTO earns 1% of Yoss receipts each school year. For the 2012-2013 school year, thanks to outstanding student/parent/teacher efforts and community involvement, the program was able to raise a grand total of $3.121.37! With these funds, teachers can make purchases for classroom materials. In addition, PTO will use these funds to help pay for the mulch that was added to the playground this year.
Send your Yoss Thriftway receipts to school with any Adrian R-III student and designate his or her class or tribe at the top to qualify them for parties throughout the school year. Receipts can also be turned in at the elementary office, high school office, or in the collection boxes around town at the following businesses: Adrian Bank, Adrian Christian Church, Adrian Journal, Adrian Kreisler Drug & Floral, Adrian Lanes, Citizens Bank and Studio 201. Any receipt dated August 1 to the last day of school can be turned in.
