WMAT&MA prepares for the 36th Annual Steam and Gas Engine Show

The 36th Annual Steam and Gas Engine Show is coming soon, on the last full weekend of June. The Western Missouri Antique Tractor and Machinery Association is busy preparing for this year’s show, to be held June 27, 28 and 29 at Frontier Village.

This year, the featured tractor and implements is the Case brand. Also featured will be the Case lawn and garden tractors.

Friday, June 27, the show begins with a variety of activities starting with breakfast being served from 6 to 10 a.m. in the Frontier Village Center. The big event on Friday, the Classic Tractor pull (up to 5500 pounds)

Saturday will be the busiest day with a variety of events and displays. The Tractor Pull will be held Saturday for the Classic 5500 pounds and up beginning at 6:30 p.m. Then on Sunday, the antique steel and rubber weigh-in begins at 1 p.m. sharp with the show at 3 p.m. The Power of Parade will be at noon on both Saturday and Sunday, following an anvil shoot.

Lots of food vendors and other types of vendors will be set-up all weekend.
