The 33rd Annual WMAT&MA Tractor Show time is coming up fast, in less than two and a half weeks, to be exact. The event, held this year June 24, 25, and 26, as always, promises to be lots of fun for everyone. This year, the featured tractor is the Ford and Fordson brand with related farming equipment. Co-featured this year will also be all brands of lawn and garden tractors.

A popular event to be held all three days will be the noon anvil shoot. Kids games begin at 2:30 pm on Saturday and the adult competitions begin at 3:00pm with such events as the Bale Throw, Two Man Log Sawing, Blind Man Tractor Drive and the Slow Tractor Race.

Sunday’s events begin with Church Services in the Old Mulberry Church at 8:00am, and the Kids Pedal Tractor Pull at 1:30pm. The Antique Tractor Pull begins the three days of competition with the Classic Pull, up to 5500 pounds, at 6:30pm, Friday. Then Saturday, will be the Classic Pull, 5500 pounds or over, which also begins at 6:30pm. On Sunday, the Antique Steel and Rubber Tire Pull begins at 3:00pm. The Frontier Village Center is open all three days of the show and will be serving breakfast and lunch each day, beginning at 6:00am.

And, don’t forget the vendor and flea market for the unusual items. There will be old-time crafts and exhibits. There’s lots to see and do at this year’s show….see you there!
