Town Under Water
Water, water everywhere. The rain began on Sunday morning, May 6, and didn't let up all day. Some reported four to five inches fell, according to their rain gauges. And it didn't stop there. Over 360 Adrian Aquila customers were without power for a period of three hours on Sunday. According to an Aquila representative, lightning struck and locked out a protective device on a utility pole, leaving many without power and causing businesses to close and churches to conduct service in the dark. Unfortunately, the forecast is not good: rain is predicted for the rest of the week. Better get out your slickers and galoshes.
