Six participates in Optimist District Oratorical Contest

Makyna Six, an 8th grade student at Adrian R-III, was one of four students to qualify for the Western Missouri Optimist District Oratorical Contest Finals. Last weekend, Makyna gave a speech in the finals held in Branson, MO on “Cyber Communication: Progress or Problem?”

Maykna was sponsored by the Adrian Optimist Club. “It’s always nice to see the local students achieve so much. Makyna displayed great poise and promise while representing Adrian in Branson,” said Adrian Optimist First Vice President Mike Burris. “The Adrian Optimist Club commends Maykna for her accomplishments.”
