Ring in the new year with a blood donation

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will start 2010 off on January 5. This will be a good time for all eligible donors to start a regular donation schedule. All types of blood are in need and greatly appreciated by those in need. Following all the holidays, when there are no blood drives and the need increases for blood, we all should step forward. Each of us have been busy with our holiday schedules so now mark that Tuesday, January 5 calendar with a big X and make plans to come to the Adrian Optimist Building and donate blood. What a better way to start off your new year. Watch the upcoming papers and I will give you more information on being a regular donor. Some of you have been deferred temporarily for various reasons and believe you can no longer be a donor. The lists of deferrals have changed greatly and most can be donors.

Come by on January 5 and check out your condition with a nurse - you may be surprised. See you there!
