The Adrian Police Department received a 2008 Crown Victoria police car last week. The shiny gray car arrived Wednesday, June 27. Chief Charles Chapman shows off the new squad car and a protective inner cage. The cage was donated by Butler Police Chief Jim Garnett and is much appreciated. It would have cost around $400 if purchased new. Thanks to Chief Garnett’s donation, it cost the City of Adrian nothing.

Chief Chapman said the Adrian Police graphics will be added to the new car in the near future. Even without the graphics, the car was placed immediately and officially ‘in service’.
