Osage Valley Electric celebrates 75 years
The 75th Annual Meeting of the members of Osage Valley Electric Cooperative Association will be held at the Benson Center in Clinton, Missouri on Thursday, August 22, 2013. At the annual meeting, members exercise their rights as member/owners of their electric cooperative. The members learn how their cooperative is doing financially, elect three directors to serve a three-year term, and have a fun filled evening. Each registered member who attends will receive a commemorative 75th anniversary thermometer. Electric credit certificates and other prizes will be given away throughout the evening. Two lucky winners will win $750 worth of free electricity. Members must be present to win. Sandwiches will be served between 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Registration will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the business meeting will convene at 7:00 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by The Punches Family. The offices at Butler and Clinton will close at 11:00 a.m. on August 22nd to prepare for the meeting.
