New Pastor at Adrian First Baptist Church

“What’s most rewarding is just really the experience of seeing different people’s lives…part in town, part in the country and seeing how God works in people who have different backgrounds and cultures,” said Mike Bergman.

Mike is the new Pastor for the Adrian First Baptist Church, located on Main Street. He arrived in Adrian a few days before his first Sunday, on August 22. He is originally from Sedalia, Missouri, where he was last pastor of a church. He has been in the ministry for about six years.

Mike said his goals for this first year at the Adrian First Baptist Church include encouraging the church to reach out more. “I want to be able to see the church really become more active in the community, to see Christ exalted,” he explained. “One thing to pray for, is a sense of revival in the church and in the community.”
