Methamphetamine found in rural Adrian
On August 23, 2007, Bates County Sheriff’s Office Served a search warrant in rural Adrian. The search warrant was issued after Detectives from Cass and Bates County obtained information that there was stolen property stored at the residence.
Officers serving the search warrant located two subjects inside the residence who were taken into custody. After the residence was cleared, Bates County K9 Handler Deputy Mike Bohannon and K9 AJ searched the residence and located methamphetamine inside the residence. Deputies then recovered stolen merchandise from Cass County and Bates County. Deputies also located an inactive meth lab andchemicals used to manufacture methamphetamines from a storage shed in the back yard. Deputies also found Copper wire in a burn barrel that is believed to be stolen.
