Make time to donate blood

The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Adrian Tuesday, May 10, from 1:00pm-6:00pm at the Optimist Building. The need for blood is a continuous thing for those patients in need. Your donation of blood is needed and greatly appreciated by those in need. All blood types are needed. We all are busy people. However we can stop our busy day and donate blood. You must have an ID or blood card, be 17 years of age and feeling well the day of the donation. Most medicines are acceptable.

Have trouble remembering? Do something to help you, such as lay your card out in plain sight so you will see it every so often. Have a friend call you when they come by to donate. We all should remind one another. Color May 10th on your calendar in red when you bring May up. If you have any questions on donating I might be able to answer them for you and if not, the nurses from Springfield can. Remember to drink plenty of liquids and eat an iron rich diet.
