Main Street to close beginning July 30

Beginning next Monday, July 30, Main Street will be closed to traffic. According to Jim Jacomb, Project Manager, the original plan was to work on the west side of Main Street and leave one lane open, but because delays have caused his crew to work on the east side as well, the whole street must be closed. Jacomb said law mandates that once a detour sign is posted, Main Street must remain closed for the duration of the project.
