Local dancers perform at Arrowhead

Jenny Welcher, owner and instructor of the Dance Craze, is fully committed to providing as many opportunities as possible for her dancers. Last weekend reaffirmed that commitment as she organized a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for dancers to participate in the Kansas City Chiefs Dance Studio Day halftime show with the Chiefs cheerleaders. Eleven girls from Adrian, Drexel and Archie joined Jenny on this two-day adventure. Jenny said, “What an amazing opportunity for these kids. It’s an experience none of us will ever forget. It was a blast.”
On Saturday, December 12, the dancers spent five hours at Arrowhead with the Chiefs cheerleaders, learning formations and working on choreography. On the 13th, they watched the game from the sidelines, then gave it their all during halftime. The dancers were elated when the performance was over. Cheering on the girls was an impressive number of Dance Craze fans from Adrian, Drexel and Archie.
