Kids Day at Frontier Village

Every year the Western Missouri Antique Tractor and Machinery Association (WMAT&MA) hosts an all-day “Kids Day” for area fourth graders on the first Tuesday in October.
This year, students from Adrian, Ballard, Archie, Miami, Butler and other schools participated in “Kids Day” on Tuesday, October 6. Many teachers, aides and parents accompanied 226 kids. They toured 15 stations with demonstrations by many WMAT&MA volunteers, from corn shelling to one room school tours. Fourth grader Caitlyn Wimsatt from Adrian Elementary said, “Frontier Village is an interesting place to learn more stuff about history.”
