To give or to receive...call the Adrian Food Pantry

“We’ve been really blessed,” said Food Pantry Manager Julie Stevens. “The school just made a huge donation and when Casey’s closed, they gave us all their stuff.”
Julie and Mark Stevens manage the Adrian Food Pantry. Those who are in need of food or other necessities can go to the pantry on the second and fourth Saturdays each month, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Although they do work on appointments, anyone in need can show up between those morning hours on the specified Saturdays for help.
“We run off donations for canned protein, vegetables and fruits, cereals and other foods as well as diapers, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items. Bascially anything you would use in your own home,” Julie said. “We go to Harvesters for meat and items not donated. Anyone can donate anything…whatever God puts on your heart to give.”
Food and other items can be donated directly to the Food Pantry (call the number below). Drop-off boxes are located at the Adrian Library and any of Adrian’s area churches. Monetary donations can be made to the Adrian Food Pantry account at the Adrian Bank.
“This is a community food pantry,” Julie said. “It’s Adrian’s Food Pantry. As believers, my husband Mark, and I are God’s servants. Taking care of the food pantry is what He would have us do.”
