Give blood on July 14

Don’t miss the American Red Cross Bloodmobile on Tuesday, July 14 from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Adrian Optimist Building.
You may say I don’t have time to donate blood today. WHAT IF YOU WERE THE ONE IN NEED TODAY? A call from the center today reported that less than a day’s supply of O and B types of blood are available. Other types are also low, with maybe two days supply. Every 3.9 minutes someone receives a blood transfusion. It takes less than an hour to donate whole blood. Whole blood has a 42-day shelf life, which creates a constant demand on the supply. You can donate whole blood every 56 days.
Your blood donation will ensure that someone else can celebrate yet another birthday, share another laugh with a friend, or see another sunrise. Simply eat iron rich foods, drink plenty of fluids and join your friends and neighbors at the Adrian Optimist Building on Tuesday, July 14 from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
LIFE IS RICH. SHARE THE WEALTH. BE A BLOOD DONOR.
