The gazebo at Frontier Village is tied to Adrian history
By GOLDIE SAATHOFF
The gazebo standing in front of the Frontier Village museum was made by the Pleasant Valley 4-H members and their instructor Frank Enos to be entered in the Adrian Centennial parade in 1980. It was built in the garage of Rogers and Goldie Saathoff. It won lst place. After the parade it was given to the Enos Family and placed in their yard until about 2010. It was then given to the Frontier Village for display.
Interestingly, the gazebo was patterned after a long ago picture taken on Main Street and entitled Adrian St. Fair ‘09. This picture is widely recognized by local citizens.
