Fundraising Scams

It has come to the attention of the Adrian School District that a business by the name "PRIMETIME" has been contacting local merchants in order to raise money to support the Adrian High School Marching Band. DO NOT participate in this program. "This has not been approved by the Adrian R-3 School District," said Chris Shanks, principal. "If this business has contacted you, please contact the school and report it to the High School office as we are trying to resolve this matter."The Adrian Journal has received a sales call asking for them to purchase advertising on sports cushions sponsored by the Athletic Booster Club. After inquiring an officer of the booster club, it was found that this was a bogus issue also. Be cautious with telemarketing!
