The Adrian Fire Department has had a busy month so far with the usual calls and with training sessions. One such session occurred last week and served to assist newer  volunteer personnel with specialized work and as a refresher experience for the seasoned volunteer firefighters.

“An opportunity came up that met all criteria for us to do this,” said Fire Chief Gary Dizney. “The building, a wooden shed with a metal roof, posed no hazards to the public or other structures and contained no hazardous materials.” He said all safety guidelines were followed and it was a good experience for all of the firefighters.
