After six years as the Adrian R-III School District Superintendent, Dr. Kirk Eidson is retiring.  The Adrian Board of Education has hired a familiar face as the District’s next leader, someone who is held in high regard by the students, staff, parents and the community.  At the helm as Superintendent beginning July 1, 2014 is R-III Secondary Principal Don Lile.

In his first year with a new title and new job responsibilities, Lile plans on getting his feet wet.  “There will be some learning on my part,” Lile said.  He plans to evaulate what the District has in place and make changes as needed. True to his character, Lile focuses on what matters most. “I can’t say enough about the students, staff and faculty.  They are first in my eyes,” he said.

Lile is from a small town, it is what he knows, and it is what he wants to be a part of with his family.  Lile is moving to Adrian this month. The family of four are excited to be part of and live in the Adrian community.
