Donate Blood - be courageous, give hope, save a life
The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Adrian Tuesday, May 10 from 1-6 p.m. at the Optimist Building. Your help is asked in the donor blood drive. All types of blood are needed.
Spring is a time for packing away coats and taking in life again. For most people it is a time of hope and new beginnings. We invite you to share hope with someone in need. You probably don’t know this person, but they are someone’s family member or friend who needs blood in order to live. It takes courage to help save a life. Do you have what it takes to donate a pint of your blood to help another?
Everywhere you look this time of year you see signs of new life. Did you know that every two seconds someone in this country needs blood? This might be someone in a car accident, a child with cancer or a person undergoing surgery. You can save a life and it only takes an hour of your time. This spring, give a life and share hope. You must have a blood donor card or driver’s license or two forms of identification are required. Donors must be in general good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and be at least 17 years of age.
See you Tuesday, May 10 at the Adrian Optimist Building.
