Don’t forget to donate blood on September 8
The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Adrian, Tuesday, September 8th from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Adrian Optimist Building. All types of blood are needed and greatly appreciated by those in need.
Maintaining a stable blood supply requires regular donors to donate more times each year, so encourage your friends and neighbors to become a regular blood donor. Donating blood is easy, it takes only about one hour, and you can go home knowing that you made a difference in someone’s life.
To donate, you must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 lbs., and be feeling well that day. You must have some sort of I.D. - an American Red Cross Blood Card is good or a drivers license. You should eat iron rich foods and drink extra water before donating blood.
Change someone’s life, starting with your own, by donating blood. Any questions, call Anna Lee James, 816-297-4219. See you there, Tuesday, September 8, 1:00 - 6:00 p.m., Adrian Optimist Building.
