Council votes to terminate interim City Administrator

The minutes of Adrian’s city council closed session and remaining open session last week were unavailable at press time last week. Following are the minutes of that time.
The governing body of the Adrian City Council re-convened into open session at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, July 12 pursuant to a motion duly made, seconded by unanimously adopted by the Aldermen after meeting into closed session to discuss personnel issues pursuant to Section 610.021 (3) RSMo.
Mayor Cusumano was present and presided over the session. Aldermen Kooker, Lemon, Scarborough and Ritter were also present and participated in the session. City Attorney Max Gordon and Doug Fredrickson were also present.
Mayor Cusumano announced that Melisa Yates, the City Clerk, had been excused prior to convening in closed session and was not available to take minutes and he requested Mr. Gordon to take minutes of the remainder of the meeting.
Alderman Lemon moved to terminate the employment of RoseMarie Randolph, effective immediately. Mr. Lemon re-quested an opportunity to explain his reasons for the motion if there was a second. Alderman Scarborough seconded the motion.
