Construction on Main Street causes a disaster for the Adrian Library

Experts determined that the east side of the Associates in Family Care building, constructed in the early 1900’s, is structurally unsound. Last Friday the removal of that section began (right).
During the construction, a wall fell on the Community Library, causing roof damage. Temporarily the Library has been relocated to the Old Napa Building on the west side of the train tracks. Structural engineers will be checking out both buildings.
