Adrian PTO brought back a long-standing school and community tradition: Fun Night. Last Saturday, hundreds of kids and adults traveled the halls of the school to play a wide-variety of games, get their faces painted, dance to the music throughout the night, eat a good meal and bid on cool prizes. Rain hindered the use of the ever-popular inflatables, but that did not stop the fun inside!

It truly took a team effort to make Fun Night a community event once again. Erin Newport, PTO Fun Night Officer expresses her gratitude: “Fun Night was a great time by all that attended. Thanks to all our parents and grandparents, teachers and school staff, high school cheerleaders, track team, FCCLA and others that helped with games and food. The silent auction and raffle was a huge hit this year, and music and dancing were a big part of the evening. We had a record number of sponsors this year. Without their support, these things would not have been possible. And last but certainly not least, a special thank you to the PTO officers and members who helped plan and carry out Fun Night this year.”

Behind the scenes, a PTO Fun Night Committee spent countless hours planning and preparing for the big event. Members include: Jett Farris, Melissa Thompson, Angela Miner, Jackie McCammon, Cricket Irvin, Traci McMillan, Tracy Patterson, Kim Dennison, Krissi Piveral, Jessie Keister, Tara Vermillion, Chris Engelken, Tisha Costigan, Stacey Evans, Charlotte Johnson, Lori Ritter, Erin Newport, Michele Burris, and other PTO members. In addition to this team, Elementary Principal Brian Borgmeyer, Secretary Lori Cook, and R-III teachers and faculty put forth a great deal of effort in making Fun Night a success.
