Communications to end between PWD#5 and City of Adrian if no agreement is met

Public Water District #5 of Bates County met Monday, August 4, 2008. Members present were Dale VanSlyke, Melvin Fairman, Steve Smith, John McCulley, and Bill Weeks. Others present were Richard Griffith, Steve Lewis, Kim Hubbard, and Tom Addington.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Dale VanSlyke.
A motion was made by Director VanSlyke, seconded by Director Fairman and approved by all present to approve the minutes of July 7, 2008 meeting.
Mr. Griffith gave the treasurer’s report. A motion was made by Director Weeks and seconded by Director Fairman and approved by all present to pay the monthly bills. Discussion took place regarding the cost repairs to pump 2 by Micro Com of $4500.
