City hires attorney to handle personnel issues
At the end of their November regular meeting, the Adrian Board of Aldermen emerged from a closed session and voted to retain the services of Sandra Schermerhorn and to authorize her to conduct an investigation of personnel issues. The council has not released any information about the subject of the investigation. The most recent city personnel change came in October when Leslie Pope was let go at the end of her probationary period.
The night’s business also included a financing ordinance related to the water treatment project and the adoption of a policy manual for the police department.
