City Council approves purchases for Adrian Manor improvements

A special meeting of the Board of Aldermen was held Monday, May 21, 2007 in the City Hall of Adrian, Missouri. Mayor Kendrick presided and called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Aldermen Bruce Scarborough, Mike Lemon, Hank Stark, Steve Lovelace were present. Also present were Max Gordon, City Counselor, Melisa Newkirk, City Clerk and Leonard Harrison, City Administrator. Donita Ruch was a visitor.Scarborough moved to set Doug Fredrickson's salary at $52,000.00 per year. He will get 3 weeks of vacation, adding a day a year for the five years after his first year. The Nursing Home will pay 100% of his health insurance. Lovelace seconded. Motion carried 4-0. By roll call vote: Scarborough – yes, Lemon – yes, Stark – yes, Lovelace – yes.
