City of Adrian purchases Crystal Manor this month

On December 28, the City of Adrian will purchase Crystal Manor from Spectrum Partners LLC. Crystal Manor will be operated as an extension of Adrian Manor, utilizing the nursing staff and other professionals at Adrian Manor who have been consulting with Crystal Manor since August. The staff and residents of Crystal Manor have been notified of the change. Next week representatives of the City and of Adrian Manor will meet with the current employees of Crystal Manor and review with them the employment policies of Adrian Manor. Doug Fredrickson, Administrator of Adrian Manor, anticipates that all current employees of Crystal Manor will be retained after the ownership change. Crystal Manor is licensed as a 12-bed Residential Care Facility, offering residents an assisted living environment. “We are excited about this new chapter in the developing history of the Continuum of Healthcare Services available to the seniors of our fine City of Adrian, surrounding communities and beyond,” Fredrickson said.
