Casino Night - A benefit for the Children’s Center

Area citizens, businesses and civic organizations step up to the plate time and time again to help children. Last Saturday, the 3rd Annual Casino Night was held at the Adrian Optimist Building. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Center in Butler. Countless people donated their time, money and resources to help raise nearly $19,000 for the Center.
Sentiments from Debbie Powell of the Children’s Center: “Once again the communities of our area have come together in an effort to support the worthy cause of helping our children who have fallen victim to abuse. Despite hard economic times, the Casino Night fundraiser for the Children’s Center raised an estimated $19,500 this year! The Advisory Committee for the Center would like to thank everyone who sponsored, donated, volunteered, and attended the event this year. Their kindness and generosity will help countless children and their families through a most difficult time in their lives.”
