Adrian Boy Scout Troop 238 held a flag retirement ceremony Saturday night, May 16 at Frontier Village. Over 150 flags were received and about half of them were retired in a respectable and dignified ceremony. The remainder of the flags will be retired at a later date.
To make it a ceremonial fire, the Scouts laid on cedar branches (pictured far right). The cedar purifies the fire for the retirement of the flags.
