Bicycle safety promoted by Adrian Optimist Club

The Adrian Optimist Club sponsored its annual bike rodeo for kids pre-K to 6th grade. About 25 bike riders (pictured right) learned about bicycle safety from the Adrian Police Department, and they were given safety flags and helmets from the Optimists. Optimist Club members inspected their bikes and adjusted or tightened bike parts as needed. The kids received two bicycle tires courtesy of Scott Ford and their names were entered into a drawing for a new bike from the Optimist Club.
Bike winner Sam Mager summed up his thoughts about the bike rodeo: “The Adrian Optimist Club rocks! Thank you for the awesome bike!”
