Bates County Sheriff’s Office seizes marijuana from a Drexel home

On 1/4/2013, members of the CNET Drug Taskforce and the Bates County Sheriff’s Office concluded a several month long investigation that spanned two states by converging on a residence in rural Drexel, Missouri. Fifty-two high quality marijuana plants were seized along with several pounds of processed marijuana ready for sale. Along with the marijuana, several thousand dollars worth of equipment used in the operation was seized. Charges have been submitted to the Bates County Prosecutors Office.
