Area schools gear up for the new year

Area schools will soon begin the 2011-2012 school year, beginning as early as Thursday, August 18 through Thursday, August 25. This year, several schools have raised their meal and milk prices while the prices remain the same at other schools. Nearly all districts will be welcoming new teachers, administrators or other staff members, when the students return for the new session.

Adrian Schools begin Thursday, August 18, Cass-Midway Schools on Thursday, August 18, Miami School on Monday, August 22, Ballard Schools on Wednesday, August 24 and Archie Schools on Thursday, August 25.
