Adrian VFW honors the fallen
In spite of the rain, a crowd gathered at the Lt. Charles Garrison Veterans Memorial last Saturday for a Memorial Day Service presented by the Adrian VFW Post 1935.
The service was poignant and full of honor for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom as well as those who have ever served in the U.S. military. The POW/MIA/KIA remembrance had the crowd’s full attention. Brother Bill Perkey, Double Branch Christian Church, delivered a heartfelt speech, and vocalists showed their patriotism through music.
