Adrian R-III School District Receives Accreditation with Distinction

The Adrian R-III School District was recognized for receiving Accreditation with Distinction in Performance by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education during a banquet March 25 at the University of Central Missouri. Receiving the award on behalf of the Adrian School district was Steve Lewis, school board president, second from left. Presenting the award were Ron Wilken, left, DESE area supervisor for the West Central District, and, third from left to right, Julie Blaine, Director, Central Regional Professional Development Center at UCM; Gerri Ogle, DESE associate commissioner for administrative and financial services; and the Rev. Stan Archie, member of the Missouri State Board of Education.
