The Adrian Fire Department has officially started their “By the Community, for the Community” CPR training program.  The program has been funded entirely by donations from individuals, groups, and organizations within the Adrian community.  Because of the support of the community and the generous donations, the fire department now has five CPR Instructors certified through the American Heart Association, who are able to teach everything from basic CPR for anyone who wants to know CPR, all the way up to Health Care Provider CPR for doctors, nurses, paramedics, EMT’s and anyone who works in the healthcare industry.  To find out when the next class is available, contact Brian Dizney, 816-769-8232.

The fire department would like to extend special appreciation to the Adrian Optimist Club for paying for the instructors’ training, and to Adrian Bank for purchasing all the necessary mannequins.
