Adrian Fire Department annual Boot Block set for this weekend
The Adrian Fire Department responded to 42 calls, from July 1 to Monday morning, August 25, 2008. The calls ranged from gas odor investigations, motor vehicle accidents, mutual aid assists with other departments, medical calls and fire calls within the department’s coverage area. Butler Fire responded with Adrian on fire calls involving structures.
Over the past weekend, Adrian Fire responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident near Passaic, on Saturday where they assisted the Bates County Ambulance and assisted the Life Flight Air Ambulance, which air lifted a seriously injured patient to a Kansas City hospital. Then, on Sunday, the fire crew responded to a grass and hay bale fire at a location off Route T and Missouri 18 Highways. Butler Fire was requested to be on standby for Adrian during that time.
