Adrian Elks Lodge Instituted

On Sunday June 7, 2009, the new Adrian Elks Lodge was formally instituted as an organization. Elks dignitaries from the Joplin Lodge conducted the initiation ceremony and local officers were installed. The new lodge is now Adrian Lodge 2864 and has just under 100 members from Adrian, Butler and Ballard.
As a non-profit service organization, the Elks are dedicated to many good causes, from the Hoops program to youth scholarships and to helping soldiers overseas and veterans here at home and in the VA hospitals.
