Adrian Community Chest presents first donation

The Adrian Community Chest was reactivated last year to provide funding for local civic groups and organizations in various community betterment and charitable endeavors. Community Chest board members are pleased to announce that their first benefactor is the Adrian Senior Center’s 15th Annual Miles for Meals “Pick It Up” Walkathon that is coming up on Sunday, June 6. The Adrian Miles for Meals program appreciates any and all financial support for the services to help folks remain independent.

Mark your calendars for the Miles for Meals “Pick It Up” Walkathon on Sunday, June 6 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Teams will walk the town to pick-up trash. And don’t miss the tasty meal provided by Leonard and Grace Bartz at the end of the event. They will be providing delicious pork burgers for one and all!
