Adrian Chamber names Business of the Month

The Adrian Chamber of Commerce’s featured business for February is The Sign Shop, located at 302 East Pine Street, in Archie.
The business is owned by Charlie Reed, of Archie and it is managed by the sole employee, who happens to be Charlie’s daughter, Beth Davis.

“It started because Dad wanted to letter his own race car,” Beth explained. “He got tired of paying others to do his signs, so he decided to do his own.” She laughed. “He bought the business- so I could do it!”

The Sign Shop, which began in December 2007, has always been at the location across from the Archie City Park on Pine Street. It offers customers more than vinyl signs or magnetic signs. The custom designed work also includes decals, car lettering, T Shirts and caps, all in customer choice colors. There is no minimum order. Unlike other printing businesses which need a larger order of single designed products, Beth can also accommodate smaller orders of two or three items with the same design.
