Adrian Celebrates the Fourth

Flags lined Main Street Saturday as the Annual Fourth of July festivities kicked off with a parade down the city's main thoroughfare.Events later moved to the city park for an afternoon of fun before culminating with a truck and tractor pull with fireworks at dusk.Parade entries ranged from churches promoting vacation bible schools to a newly-formed Bates County PT Cruiser Club.Sunday's truck and tractor pull was called off early due to storms that rolled into the area that evening.
