Adrian Blackhawks have talent

Adrian R-III students, grades K - 12, hit the big stage in a Talent Show last Thursday. From singing to dancing to poetry to sign language, forty-six acts proved that Adrian Blackhawks have talent. Joe Patterson served as the announcer and Wally Henrickson, John Camerson and Ryland Howard took care of the lights and sound. Judges came from areas outside of Adrian with a vast array of expertise in music and dance. Judges were: Bill Johnson, Kara Smith and Kris Houseman.

Grades 4 - 6 Winners
1st Place: “Aye Caramba” - Taryn Gregg, Kaitlyn Kiminnau, Marissa Markel, Bailey McMillan, Maddie Moore Sheldon Tallman, Jaylee Welcher
2nd Place: “Billie Jean” - Keegan Goosey

Junior & Senior High Winners
1st Place: “Toothbrush and My Table” - Sarah Jacobs
2nd Place - “I’ve Had the Time of My Life” - Caressa Wainwright & Jacob Essenpries

The Talent Show was sponsored by the Adrian Music Booster Club. All proceeds go to supplement extra funds needed for the Adrian Music Department as it grows.
