75 Years of Adrian Banking

The new Adrian Optimist Community Building was filled Saturday night, November 3, as the Adrian Bank celebrated its Diamond Anniversary. Between 800 and 1,000 customers and friends attended the event titled “Honoring our past, celebrating the present, valuing the future”, which included a meal catered by Butt Head BBQ, caricature drawings by The Fine Tooners, Maxaroo the Kangaroo and a 2008 Dodge Viper displayed by Max Motors, a custom motorcycle displayed by Brad and Missy Brooks and bank prize drawings throughout the night.
“The night far exceeded our expectations. We appreciate all our customers that joined us in our 75th Anniversary Celebration and want especially to thank Butt Head BBQ, [owned by] Ritchie and Debbie Davis, for the excellent catering job that they performed,” said Gene Irvin, Adrian Bank CEO and Chairman of the Board.
Drawing winners: Zack Underwood of Adrian won a 4 wheeler from the Adrian Service Center in the Adrian Bank children's drawing on Saturday night. The grand prize, a seven day vacation package from RCI, went to Charlotte and Jay Payne of Butler.
