Once again, individuals, businesses and civic organizations hopped on board to support Bates County youth.  The 4th Annual Casino Night, a benefit for the Bates County Children’s Center, was held at the Adrian Optimist Building last Saturday.  Countless people donated their time, money and resources to help raise funds for the Center.

Those in attendance had a friendly, competitive evening with the ever-popular mouse races (left).  Attendees also played various casino games, all in an effort to raise as much money as possible for the Children’s Center.  At the end of the night, a live cash auction generated even more fundraising dollars and provided a great deal of entertainment.

The Children’s Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides forensic interviewing, medical exams, therapy and advocacy services for child abuse victims. The Bates County Children’s Center has touched the lives of over 100 children since opening in October 2009.
