2010 Bates County Fair underway

The 2010 Bates County Fair is now underway. The theme for this year is “Bates County Doing It Again in 2010”. The parade was held Monday evening. The event then moved out to the fairgrounds for the Bash, the crowning of the Little Miss and Mr. Bates County, and the Farm Bureau Talent Contest. Fair events will continue throughout the week with the Junior Livestock Sale on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. and the Bull Extravaganza and crowning of the queen and princess on Saturday evening.
