“Come on, Adrian, let’s recycle!”

The City of Adrian received a grant from the Quad-Lakes Solid Waste Management District and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to purchase seven recycling trailers and establish a convenience drop recycling center in a fenced area behind Adrian City Hall at 16 E. 5th Street. City Administrator Lori Williams said, “The recycling center is open to anyone. You don’t have to be an Adrian resident to use our center.”

Last month 5,188 pounds of material was recycled. There is plenty of room for more. The recycling center is open from daylight to dark seven days a week and The City of Adrian encourages everyone to recycle. “Come on, Adrian, let’s recycle,” said Williams.

Below is a list of recyclable materials. Read this week's issue of The Adrian Journal or contact Adrian City Hall to find out how to sort the materials.
