The WEMO Conference track meet was held Tuesday, May 3 at Adrian High School for junior high and high school. The junior high girls captured the championship title with 113 points and the boys fell just half a point short of the title as they took 2nd with 100.5 points. The high school boys and girls both finished third.

Coach Basore said, “I thought overall the girls competed hard . . . times keep improving and we are looking forward to seeing how well we do at districts this Saturday at Archie.”

Coach Cochran said, “Team wise I was a little disappointed. We finished third, but probably should have been second. For the most part, the kids’ times were alright (several personal bests), but just not enough against the competition. We have districts coming up and we need to be in top shape for that.”
