Two more wins for the Lady Blackhawks

In a blowout game last week, the Lady Blackhawks crushed Barstow, 60 – 33. This victory brings their record to 7 wins and 1 loss on the season. Coach Nathan Dingman said: “We came out as a team ready to play. Our defense is what made Barstow work.” And the stats back that up as the girls only allowed two Barstow points in the first quarter.
On Friday night the Blackhawks celebrated their Courtwarming against the Lone Jack Mules. The Lady Blackhawks entertained the crowd as they posted a 57 to 29 victory. They jumped out to a 13 to 6 first quarter lead and continued into the second quarter as they scored 13 and the Lady Mules scored 10. After the halftime break Adrian came out and scored 31 points in the second half while holding the Lady Mules to 13. Coach Dingman stated, “We played a good game. I had some bench players step up and play big minutes. Didn’t shoot too well, but our defense made up for it. We came out hot in the third quarter.”
