The Adrian Blackhawks were represented in the Missouri Lions 38th Annual All-Star Football Game by Christian Graham and Austin Williams.   The game was played July 19th on Kennedy Field at the University of Central Missouri’s Walton Stadium in Warrensburg, MO. Both players saw extensive playing time, showing their versatility by lining up on both sides of the ball.

Recently retired Head Football Coach for these young men, George Bruto, made the trip to see his players play their last game wearing the black and gold just as he had the 27 seasons prior.   “They are still my kids. I’m glad to be here to watch them play.”

Also representing Adrian was Rachel Mann, who was a member of the Missouri Lions All State Band. Rachel, along with other members of the Band, attended the Lions Club International Convention in Toronto, Canada from July 4-8. The band marched in the International parade on Saturday, July 5. The band performed before the All-Star Game and at halftime.

Graham, Williams and Mann were all sponsored by the Adrian Lions Club.
